Animal Prints...GRRRR!

Animal print Satin dress- Wore to the wedding I attended 2 weeks ago, Animal print with belt-wore out to a club, and striped shirt with high waisted black shorts- wore for a day out with my dad for his birthday. All from Forever 21 except the dress from the wedding which is from Macy's. Sorry I've been lagging friends. My camera has been dead and I haven't recharged. I keep thinking about how much I need to take pics everytime I get dressed! Wish you all a Happy Tuesday.

I'm terrible

Okay, so I am OFFICIALLY the worst blogger EVER at the moment. I really feel like my weeks/days are whizzing by all while I'm sitting here at my desk working feverishly. I can't stop saying how much I miss school and was actually jealous of my sister (who will start as a college freshman this fall) when she went to orientation on Tuesday. I'm also very much in a depression due to my need to SAVE,SAVE,SAVE right now. I AGAIN am going to Vegas, in 3 weeks People! (My very first Bachelorette party) This means only one more paycheck for me before I go. This isn't including a Bridal shower gift which is happening in one week. Wedding fever has SPREAD. I'm more worried about having dresses to wear out, and of course a Bangin' suit for REHAB on Sunday at the Hard Rock.

What have I bought?

BTW- Another reason it's been so slow around these blogging parts is because of my budget. Man oh man... I have a bachelorette party comingup next month I will be attending as well as another bridal shower, lingerie shower, and wedding present to buy. Eek. Anyway, the one thing I did purchase in the last week is:

• Franz Kafka's: The Castle (recommended by my brilliant creative writing professor)


• A juicer for the wedding I am attending tomorrow


• A framed photo for my dad's birthday on Monday


• A dress to wear to the reception


• A week's worth of CUTE and CHEAP underwear at Marshall's


• A sundress on clearance at Marshall's

For some reason I keep changing my temporary obsessions- I went from having a terrible purse fetish to shoes (both of which are still lingering) to now lacy, lingerie-like underwear that I can wear everyday. My best finds so far have been from Forever 21, and most recently Marshall's where you can find cute undies and a matching bra as long as you search for them. It's deinitely worth it though. ;) Pics to come of all my finds, can 't wait for my book to arrive from Texas, and yes PLENTY of pics from the wedding. Have a weekend filled with love.

It's Been a Week!

It's been a whole week since I've posted- sorry ladies. This week have been full of interesting tid-bits here and there including a possible creative opportunity for me to write and be published. More details to come after I make a decision. Most of my time has been dedicated to work (of course), and the wedding of friends I will be attending tomorrow. I never realized how much effort has to be put in just to ATTEND a wedding, let alone BE in one. (which I will be in one come September). Couples showers, wedding gifts, and not to mention finding appropriate attire for all of the occasions.

UPDATE: I am wearing the short plain black dress I posted earlier to the daytime ceremony, and I found a HOT skin tight dress to wear to the evening reception. PICTURES TO FOLLOW. (FYI: I will be wearing my Betsey J. shoes to the reception)

Flowers for Friday

Today is Friday, thank God! I need a break from the office FOR SURE. My plans for the weekend consist of a 5 year old's birthday party, and HOPEFULLY buying a cruiser for my boyfriend so we can ride together at the beach. (I've had mine for months but haven't taken it out cause I hate riding while he's walking) I just had my 3 year anniversary last week which is where these gorgeous pink/white roses came from. (Good job Boyfriend) I also attended an amazing famers market down by the beach with a friend who is home for the summer. I bought these awesome purple flowers for $4! They're such deep purples, I love it. I wish everyone a great weekend, and I'll be sure to take pics of my activites! Toodles!

Headache day at Work

Work yesterday consisted of meetings and a horrible headache from staring at my computer for 8 hours. Grr.
